It is ideal for car dealers, detailers, body shops, vehicle inspectors and private buyers who want to assess a vehicle thoroughly before purchase, sale or treatment.
This smart paint thickness gauge automatically recognises the substrate and measures on steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. With a measuring range from 0 to 2200 μm and an accuracy of 1 μm, you gain reliable insight into the condition of the paint coating. This makes it easier to identify possible repainting, repaired body panels or thicker layers of filler.
Using Bluetooth 4.0 LE, the NexPTG Advanced connects easily to the free NexPTG app for iOS and Android. In the app, you can create a clear measurement map using multiple points on the vehicle. Mapping paint thickness has never been easier or more accurate. The app also helps interpret the readings using the SAPL Extended paint coating analysis system.
The NexPTG Advanced stores up to 2,000 measurements and operates for up to 100 hours on alkaline batteries. You can save measurement history, use suggested measurement points and create or export clear inspection reports. Its compact design makes it easy to take with you for vehicle inspections on location.
