The NexPTG Professional makes it easy to inspect a vehicle’s paintwork quickly and accurately. This innovative wireless paint thickness gauge performs up to ten measurements per second and automatically recognises whether the tested surface is steel, galvanised steel or aluminium. This helps you identify possible repainting, filler repairs or other irregularities in the paint coating.
The Professional version delivers enhanced precision and features a movable measuring head. This allows reliable measurements on concave, convex and difficult-to-reach body panels. The profiled probe housing reduces vibration during use, helping to provide stable and consistent readings on both internal and external curved surfaces.
Connect the NexPTG Professional to the free NexPTG app for iOS and Android using Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The app supports you with the interpretation of paint thickness readings through the SAPL Extended coating analysis system. It also provides suggested measurement points, lets you compare results against a reference point, stores your measurement history and enables you to create and export professional inspection reports.
The NexPTG Professional stores up to 4,000 measurements and provides up to 100 hours of operating time on alkaline batteries. It is an ideal tool for car dealers, body shops, detailers, vehicle inspectors and buyers who want to assess a vehicle thoroughly.
