Over time, these factors penetrate the leather’s open pores, causing the surface to become greasy, faded, brittle, or even cracked. With this kit, you can professionally restore your steering wheel to its original look and feel.

This repair kit is specifically designed for black leather steering wheels showing wear, scratches, or discoloration. Easy to use, it restores the leather’s natural finish and provides long-lasting protection. Everything you need for cleaning, degreasing, recoloring, and sealing is included in one package.

How to use the Colourlock kit

Preparation – Mask off all areas of the steering wheel that should not be treated.
Cleaning – Apply the Mild Cleaner with the included sponge, then wipe with the viscose cloth.
Degreasing – Use the Degreaser and a cloth to remove oils and residue.
Smoothing – Lightly sand rough spots with the soft pad and wipe off the dust.
Recoloring – Dab Leather Fresh (Black) with a sponge and spread in circular motions. Let it dry naturally or speed up with a hairdryer. Repeat if necessary.
Finishing – After 24 hours, apply the Sealant to protect the surface. For additional care, Elephant Leather Preserver can be used to condition the leather and give it a subtle natural shine.
