Cleaning rims with Koch Chemie Felgenblitz Säurefrei
Koch Chemie Felgenblitz Säurefrei is a powerful, acid-free rim cleaner that thoroughly removes brake dust, rust and other contaminants without damaging the rim. Thanks to the gel-like composition, the product lasts longer and works more effectively. The chemical process causes a colour change (purple/red) and makes the effect visible. In addition, the product protects with a beading effect and gloss additives.
This cleaner is suitable for most rim types, such as aluminium, steel and chrome. For sensitive rims (such as polished aluminium), first test on an inconspicuous area.
Felgenblitz is pH neutral (7.5) and therefore milder than Koch Chemie Magic Wheel Cleaner, which has a slightly acidic effect (pH 5.5), but still offers excellent cleaning power at an attractive price.
Felgenblitz Säurefrei usage tips
- Spray the cleaner undiluted onto the rim.
- Leave to work for 3 minutes.
- For stubborn dirt, follow up with a rim brush.
- Rinse thoroughly, preferably with a high-pressure cleaner.
- Repeat if necessary.
- Remove product residue from wheel nut holes and dry with compressed air if necessary.
