Koch Chemie Red Cleaning Clay
The Red cleaning clay from Koch Chemie is perfect for removing stubborn dirt, such as:
- Tree resin and insect remains
- Fly rust and industrial dust
- Paint splashes, tar and lime stains
Suitable for smooth surfaces such as weathered or heavily soiled paint and glass. This clay is ideal for thorough cleaning before polishing. Do you want to clean the windows without streaks when replacing windscreen wipers? This clay is also very suitable for that.
Please note: the red cleaning clay is not recommended for new paints. Due to the coarser structure, light ‘marring’ (scratches) can occur, which makes post-treatment with polishing necessary.
Preparing your car with Koch Chemie Clay Bar For optimal results when detailing, such as polishing and applying a coating, follow these steps:
- Chemical cleaning: Use Reactive Rust Remover and Teerwäsche A to loosen stubborn dirt.
- Mechanical cleaning: Proceed to claying the car with the cleaning clay.
How to use Koch Chemie Cleaning Clay
- Wash the car thoroughly with a car shampoo or Gentle Snow Foam.
- If necessary, first perform a chemical cleaning with Reactive Rust Remover and Teerwäsche A.
- Break off a piece of cleaning clay the size of a palm (approximately 1/4 of the bar).
- Use Clay Spray as a lubricant and apply it to the surface.
- Gently move the clay without pressure over the paintwork until it is smooth and clean.
- Knead the dirt into the clay and use a clean surface.
- Continue using the clay until it is completely saturated.
- After use, moisten the clay and store it in the box to prevent it from drying out.
- Polish the cleaned paintwork with a fine polishing compound, such as Micro Cut, for a perfect finish.
